Maj. Dad no more
I am not sure when the nickname Maj. Dad came about for my father (I think it was when Damon came into our family) but today is the last day he can be called that and it be true. Tomorrow my Dad will "pin on" his new rank of Lt. Colonel. We have been waiting for this for a long time and if anyone deserves it, it is my Dad. Congratulations, Maj. Dad!
